I awoke to the sound of rain this morning - what a pleasure.  I was sure the robin was singing a little louder - I know the hadedas were enjoying it - grrrr...

I want to remind you of our year end celebrations coming up on Saturday 3rd of December.  We have a lovely day arranged with an early morning bird walk led by Rob Geddes while the ringers get their nets up so that you can get up close and personal with the birds.  We're having a brunch bring-and-braai starting at 10am so that we can make the most of the day and still have time to do some Christmas shopping in the late afternoon.  You need to bring all your munchies along for the braai - we'll supply pap and some bubbly but we need to know if you're coming along so that we can make sure we have enough of everything.
