Bird RingingRinging starts at dawn and usually lasts until about midday on the first Saturday of each month. Everyone welcome.

Evening MeetingsUsually held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 19:00. Tea is served afterwards – donations welcome. All meetings are held at the Sci-Enza Centre, University of Pretoria, Hatfield.

Day OutingsWe start early so bring along a breakfast basket, something to drink and a chair. Braai facilities are available at certain venues. Entrance fees are sometimes payable.

Weekend CampsFull payment is required to confirm your booking. Payments should be made by direct transfer or deposit with your surname as reference. Please do not make any deposits without first booking with the club secretary. Bookings and enquiries should preferably be made via e-mail. Please bring firewood or charcoal along to every camp.

AccessibilityAlmost all venues have dirt roads, which are accessible with normal sedan vehicles. Birding is often done on foot. Comfortable walking shoes are advisable.

Junior BirdersFamilies are welcome at all outings.

Non-membersAll non-members accompanied by members are always welcome. For weekend outings and courses, an administration fee of 20% of the camp costs are payable.
